GSR Appeal

The GSR Appeal has been set up to raise funds for a new race circuit in the East Midlands. The new circuit will replace Tibshelf model car race track which was closed in September 2007 after 30 years of operation. Tibshelf has been closed due to noise complaints from residential properties that have encroached on the track.

3 DAY 1/8th RALLYCROSS WINTER INDOOR MEETING

The former Itself R/CRCC now “EMMA” wishes to announce their first meeting under their new club name. This is to be a 3 day winter indoor meeting on the 28/29/30 November 2008 for 1/8th IC Rally cross cars at their new location inside Newark Show Ground Nottingham shire.
The meeting will be for ladies and gents, juniors and senior drivers, and to be run on Astroturf.

February 2008

The former Tibshelf circuit needs to vacate the site by 12 March 2008. They have arranged to be on site on the 8 -9th March when the heavy lifting plant will be on site.

They need a lot of help to do this on this weekend. They are requesting help from all those who have enjoyed racing at the circuit for the last 30 years and anyone else that can help.

Its critical that they get as much help as they can over that weekend as they have to leave on the said date, if they do not move all this equipment then it may be lost forever. This would help them a great deal and help us to move to the new circuit.
